Rosa, a young working-class woman, dreams of quitting her job in fashion retail to become a successful singer. When she tries to sell a dress to Pnina, the daughter of rich widower Mr. Eisen, both father and daughter invite Rosa to join them at the ‘high society’ party they’re hosting at their home that night. Rosa turns up, pretending to be a socialite, and after performing a musical number at the party she catches the eye of a famous producer, director, and singer. From that moment on, a series of hilarious and moving mishaps ensue which, of course, end up in wedded bliss. In the film. stars Tiki Dayan and Svicka Pick perform the hit single, It’s Good to Fall in Love (‘tov lehitahev’).
