Keren Mor is a film, television, and stage actor. Mor studied her craft at the Nissan Nativ Acting Studio and got her big break in 1987 in Jacob Goldwasser’s hit family melodrama, Abba Ganuv [loosely ‘crazy dad’], playing main protagonist Chico Ben-David’s (Yehuda Barkan) ex-wife Maggie, who wants to start over in the US and take their son with her. Mor also appeared in a string of successful TV satire programmes including Zehu Ze (that’s that) and The World Tonight, but truly became a household name when she joined the ensemble cast of cult classic, The Cameric Five [‘ha-hamishia hakamerit’], a trailblazing satire programme that ran for four series between 1993-1997.
In 2018, Mor was cast as cashier Kohava Shavit in the hit sitcom, Checkout.
