Judd Neeman’s documentary follow choreographer, Irina Jamal’s dance company’s trip to a festival, back in her native Ukraine. Irina, who lives in Haifa and is married to a Palestinian, is the founder and director of the Scheherazade dance company that’s based in the Galilee village of Rama. Jews and Arabs dance together in the company however, with the looming visit to Kiev and Babi Yar, relationships within the group start to strain. In the process, Jamal must also deal with issues related to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and the historical memory of the Babi Yar mass murder site where tens of thousands of Jews were slaughtered by the Nazis.
