This is the seventh instalment in the Lemon Popsicle film franchise – a German-Israeli co-production which, most likely, explains why the characters’ names have suddenly changed from Benzi, Momo, and Yuda’le to Benji, Bobby, and Jonny (respectively). The film’s Israeli release was notably dubbed into Hebrew [a rarity in live-action foreign language titles in Israel – EE].
Yuda’le invites his mates, Benzi and Momo, to ride in his father’s Cadilac whilst the latter is abroad. When the trio total the car and realise they haven’t got enough money between them to cover the repairs before Yudale’s father is back from his trip, they all take a job in a hotel. There, Benzi learns that his ex, Iris, has been staying at the hotel with her parents, and is determined to win her back. Meanwhile, his two co-conspirators set out to womanise as many of the foreign female hotel guests as possible – as per the franchise’s tradition.
