Director Eran Riklis’s drama thriller, based on Ram Oren’s best-selling novel of the same title, was originally a made-for-TV film but subsequently ended up also getting a theatrical release.
When Ramat Hasharon-based bookshop owner Dafna (Dafna Rechter) meets Ami (Sharon Alexander), the CEO of a tech firm, her otherwise peaceful life is turned upside down. Dafna has a successful husband and children, and all parts of her life are, for all intents and purposes, perfectly slotted into place – and yet, she somehow ends up embarking on a passionate illicit affair. After getting sacked from his job, Ami is made a tempting business offer but in order to go for it, he must invest 300,000 USD; however, his ex-wife won’t let him go anywhere near that kind of money. Dafna decides to help and gives him the money she’d inherited from her late father – only for Ami to then ghost her. With the help of her friend Merav (Orna Pitussi), Dafna goes after Ami to have her revenge.
