Dafna Rechter is an Israeli film, television, and stage actress. Rechter is the daughter of lauded actress, the late Hanna Maron and architect, Yaakov Rechter. She studied acting at the Beit Zvi School for the Performing Arts and has appeared in a variety of plays produced at the Beersheba, Habima, and Beit Lessin theatres. She is a twice Ophir Prize winner in the Best Lead Actress category: her first win came in 1991 for her performance in Jacob Goldwasser’s Over the Ocean, followed by a second win in 1998 for her part in Jonathan Sagall’s Urban Feel.
Highlights of her television credits include: The Perfume Rapist, My First Sony, and Ahava Me’ever Lapina (‘love round the corner’).
Highlights of her film credits include: Max and Morris (Jacob Goldwasser, 1994), Beep (Amit Hecht, 1997), Tzur Hadassim (Gideon Kolirin, 1999), and Temptation (Eran Riklis, 2002).
