A portrait of legendary acting teacher, Nissan Nativ, who taught and mentored generations of Israeli actors and performers. Nativ passed away just weeks before he was due to receive the Israel Prize for his lifetime contributions to the art of theatre in Israel; in death, he left his nearest and dearest an assortment of items from his art collection. In a series of interviews with those closest to him (including friends, colleagues, and alumni of his eponymous acting school), they recall their relationship with Nativ and discuss his life, his personality, and his approach to teaching the art of acting and theatre. Archival footage shot at the school shortly before his death features scenes from lessons Nativ was teaching, giving viewers a glimpse inside this institution he had founded.
