An English language Israeli-Canadian co-production, directed by Tzipi Trope. At the heart of the film are Tel Avivian couple Dan and Miry. At first glance, theirs seems like the perfect marriage. However, the relationship starts to unravel after Miry is promoted in the magazine where she is a staff writer, and Dan lands a job in New York. Meanwhile, Miry is also working on a story on domestic violence and learns of her subject, Naomi’s harrowing reality at the hands of her abusive husband. When Dan sets off for the US, Miry hides their separation from her daughter as she tries to adapt to this new normal, whilst still retraining some semblance of her old life.
