Nissim Mossek and Dan Verete’s film paints an in-depth, multilayered portrait of Mordechai Vanunu, aka ‘The Atomic Spy’. The riveting man Vanunu was is revealed, bit by bit: through letters he had written that are read out by playwright, Harold Pinter; via excerpts from Yigal Ezrati’s one-man show, Mr. V (with Jonathan Cherchi playing Vanunu); in interviews with prominent left wing figures, activists calling for his release, his siblings, and much more. The film title is taken from the song, I am Your Spy (‘ani hameragel shelcha’) written by Vanunu from his Israeli prison cell.
