Uri Gavriel is an esteemed film, television, and theatre actor. Gavriel took his first career steps in the 1980s and over the years, has appeared in a great many films including Big Shots (Jacob Goldwasser, 1982), Kuni Leml in Cairo (Joel Silberg, 1983), The Quarry (Ron Ninio, 1990), Max and Morris (Jacob Goldwasser, 1994), Desperado Square (Benny Toraty, 2001), Avanim (Raphael Nadjari, 2004), and What a Wonderful Place (Eyal Halfon, 2005), a role that won him an Ophir Award that year for Best Lead Actor. Through the years, Gavriel also added numerous international credits to his body of work, starring in a host of US and other foreign productions, whilst still appearing on Israeli television on a regular basis (including hit drama, The Arbitrator) and in a slew of stage plays.
