Maya Maron is a film and television actress. At the age of 19, she was cast in Ari Folman and Ori Sivan’s film, Saint Clara (1996), for which she was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Ophir award. In 1998, she starred in Nir Bergman’s university graduation project, Sea Horses and later, reunited with the director for his debut feature film, Broken Wings; a part that clinched her a Best Supporting Actress Ophir Award win. Maron has starred in a number of TV series including Miluim (‘reserve duty’), In Therapy, The Arbitrator, Weeping Susannah, Screenz, and Shtisel. Her film credits include She’s not 17 (Issac Zepel Yehurun, 2003), Campfire (Joseph Cedar, 2004), and many more.
