Lihi Hanoch is an author, poet, screenwriter, and director. Hanoch has previously worked as an in-house director for Israel’s public television broadcaster. Her 1988 documentary, True Romance, follows her then-husband, musician Shalom Hanoch throughout his album tour. Highlights of her other directorial credits include Big Children (1976), A Girl in Search of an Address (1977), Monologue of a Young Woman (1981), and Adam Zirkus (1994). Hanoch has also published a number of poetry and fiction books including High as the Wheat (‘Be-govah ha-hitah’) (1992), Under the Circumstances (‘Mi-tokh ha-tena’im’) (1999), Shooting Wild (‘Se’if ts’elo’) (2005), and Bare Naked (‘Be-‘erom male’) (2012).
