The film “Manana” produced by the Israel Film Service, tells the story of Manana Bokovza, forty-five years old from Galilee, mother of ten children, and grandmother of six grandchildren. A few years ago, she joined the day school center of the adult education department and was one of the hundreds of mothers studying in Israel. The film deals with Menana’s dealings with ignorance, the social and cultural disconnection, and even the geographical one imposed on her and her friends from Tunis in Hazor HaGalilit. A story of great curiosity and faith in the “new world”.
