Idit Shehori is an Israeli filmmaker and theatre director. She is the founder of the Idit Shehori School of Screenwriting that was based in Tel Aviv until closing its doors in 2011. Shehori is a prolific script editor and film lecturer, and has previously worked as a journalist and culture editor for a range of Israeli daily publications including the now defunct Hadashot (‘news’), Maariv, Haaretz, and Yedioth Ahronoth. Highlights of her film credits include Weekend Circles (1980), In the Name of Love (1994), and Wasserman – The Rain Man (2007).
