A promotion film produced by the JNF and WIZO organization about the latter’s social projects for Israeli youth.
Mickey Shem Tov (Mike Burstyn) is a delinquent from Jaffa. In his attempt to court Ziva (Batia Cabiri), Mickey steals a scooter and takes her for a ride. After the adventure goes sour and Mickey is detained by the police, his probation officer gives him a chance to go straight: Mickey signs up for the local WIZO youth center, the director of which (Rami Nir) takes him under his wing. To show Mickey the right path, the director tells him about other youth to whom WIZO had helped: Danny, who undergoes vocational training in a WIZO farm in Nahalal; Devorah, a new immigrant from South Africa studying child care; Moshe, a laborer in the Port of Ashdod; and even Ziva herself – Mickey’s love interest.
