An Israeli Film Service documentary about Yitzhak Sadeh. The film was produced in collaboration with the Jewish Agency.
“His orders were given offhandedly, quietly, but were always taken as indisputable,” says Deputy Prime Minister Yigal Allon about his former commander Yitzhak Sadeh. This film reviews the biography of the first commander of the Palmach, also known as The Old Man. The film’s main focus is Sadeh’s contribution to the development of Haganah and IDF’s military tactics.
