Medical services available in the Sinai Peninsula under the Israeli Military Governorate, in cooperation with the Israeli Ministry of Health. An ambulance arrives at a Bedouin community in northern Sinai to distribute medicines to patients in need, and a clinic operates and provides medical services to residents. The el Arish hospital is operated by a team of Israeli doctors and nurses from Tel Hashomer Hospital, headed by Dr. Mordechai Shani, whose work in the Gaza Strip and the Sinai Peninsula won him the Albert Schweitzer Prize for humanitarian activity. In the operating room, a young man is being operated under anesthetization.
