The episode depicts the daily ongoing activities on the Israeli side of the Suez Canal including shell attacks and shootings on the Egyptian side, treatment of wounded soldiers in a field hospital and the transfer of the wounded to a hospital, and excavation of bunkers as part of the construction of the Bar Lev Line. In between, the soldiers sleep and shower. The commander of the Southern Command, Major General Yeshayahu Gavish, arrive at the scene alongside other commanders, to survey a vehicle that was hit while driving over a mine.
