An episode of the classic childrens television show The Magic Door (Delet Haksamim), produced by the Israeli Film Service in collaboration with the Ministry of Transportation, the Ministry of Education, and the National Council for the Prevention of Road Accidents, and aimed to educate children about road traffic safety. The plot centers around siblings Hagari and Yoav as they learn about road safety through various characters they encounter. Among the characters are the magician Yehoyakim Kook (played by Gideon Singer), the owner of the local pharmacy Dr. Guttman (Mordechai Ben Ze’ev), and his schlemiel assistant Hertzel (Gidi Gov). On the tenth episode, Hagari and Yoav go to the beach, and on their way they notice a boy riding a bicycle overloaded with equipment on a one-way street and against the direction of traffic. The children search for the cyclist at the beach, and Yoavi finds him and accuses him of riding against the direction of traffic, but the boy denies it. Mr. Kook gathers all the children back to his shop and through a projection of the Enchanted Eye, the cyclist realizes that he was wrong and indeed rode against the direction of traffic. Meanwhile Mr. Guttman has a toothache, but all the dentists in the neighborhood have gone to the beach.
