An excerpt from David Perlovs film In Search of Ladino on the efforts to preserve the rich Ladino culture in Israel. Will the Ladino language survive in the Israeli space or is it expected to disappear? Members of the Ladino community seek to preserve their unique cultural identity and prevent the disappearance of a centuries-old thriving culture, for example through the publication of the newspaper La Luz, and the recording of songs and stories passed from one generation to the next (Director: David Perlov).
