Heavy snow covers Jerusalem and the surrounding mountains. The train station to Tel Aviv is closed, the roads are closed to traffic and the old and new parts of the city are covered with white. The snow reaches forty centimeters and covers dozens of cars. New snow-plows are clearing snow from the roads. The snow stops and the residents of Jerusalem go out to the white-covered streets. Children play with a giant snowball and build snowmen. Adults also join the games in the snow, a woman kisses a snowman she has built with a friend. Children throw snowballs at each other.
