A large audience of guests arrives at the Weizmann Institute in Rehovot. Among the arriving guests are Knesset members, rabbis, ministers, IDF officers and diplomats. Yosef Sprinzak, Golda Meir, Moshe Sharett, United States Ambassador James McDonald and Daniel Oster. President Chaim Weizmann arrives wearing a cloak and cap, escorted by Military Secretary Lieutenant Colonel David Arnon, Prime Minister David Ben Gurion and Chief of Staff Yaakov Dori. The audience greets the dignitaries as reporters document the event. Speakers on stage, including Sprinzak. World WIZO President Rivka Ziv cuts a ceremonial ribbon and approaches the Weizmann building, the institutes logo on the side of the building. Ben Gurion speaks.
