The first film of “Israel Motion Picture Studios” produced and directed by Baruch Dienar.
An American journalist is sent unwillingly to Israel finds himself captivated by the country and its people. Kennedy, the journalist, lands in Tel Aviv and is amazed by the progress and speed at which the young nation has developed. He meets Moshe Perlman, the IDF spokesperson, who takes him on a tour of the dunes, which goes slightly awry. From there, Kennedy continues to visit all over the country—in Jerusalem and Haifa, in a transit camp and a kibbutz, in a manufacturing plant, and in the Knesset, and he is impressed not only by the rapid development and efficiency but also by the friendly and welcoming people, the “happy Israeli Arabs, first class citizens,” the Knesset members, and the diligent workers everywhere.
