What are the artistic decisions that arise while working on ia play production? How is a character built and what challenges does a Sabra- new Russian immigrants production face?
The film follows the team of award-winning play “Village Life” of the Gesher Theater, a bilingual, Hebrew-Russian theater that was established in the early 1990s, and established itself as one of the pillars of modern Israeli theater.
The film displays the philosophy, toughts and deliberations of various personalities behind the scenes: playwright Yehoshua Sobol, director Yevgeny Aryeh, the set and costume designers and the various cast.
