An excerpt from the film Jordan Valley – The Cradle of Culture, which was produced by the Israeli Film Service in collaboration with the Israel Broadcasting Authority, shows the Hisham Palace in Khirbet al-Fajr in Jericho. Announcer Gabriel Yinon describes the palace as one of the most glorious sites of the Islamic period in the Jordan Valley. The place has a palace, a bathhouse, and a mosque with full-size art sculptures of people and figures depicting the richness of Islamic culture at the time.
