The film Jordan Valley The Cradle of Culture, produced by the Israeli Film Service Ministry of Education and Culture in collaboration with the Israel Broadcasting Authority, describes how from the dawn of history, the Jordan Valley has been a major attraction for different religions and nations due to its beauty and geographical conditions. Announcer Gabriel Yinon tells of the glorious past of the Jordan Valley against the backdrop of photographs from archeological sites and finds from the settlement of ancient man, the altars of Canaanite culture, the conquest of the land by the Romans, Byzantines, Crusaders, and Muslims, and explains the Jewish settlement sites from The Israeli era until nowadays.
