An excerpt from the film Jordan Valley – The Cradle of Culture, produced by the Israeli Film Service in collaboration with the Television Broadcasting Authority, describes the synagogues that served as a cultural center for Jewish settlement in the Jordan Valley. Announcer Gabriel Yinon talks about the unique structure, the sitting style of the rabbis and the public and the special ornaments and rituals that adorned the synagogues, and the collaborations made with artists from other communities to prepare them.
