Filmmaker Uri Bar-On’s indie dramedy won the 2015 Ophir Award for Best Fringe Route Film. Nico, a young film student, is trying to complete his graduation project – a documentary about renowned Israeli football club, Hapoel Tel Aviv. His partner, Noa, meanwhile, is in the middle of a divorce.
The young student’s carefree existence, however, must change when Noa asks for his help with babysitting her seven-year-old daughter, Franny. The relationship between the two gets off on the wrong foot however, bit by bit, they start to warm to each other. As time goes by, Nico gradually matures: his dreams and passions evolve whereas Franny, who he used to describe as “10% mine”, also gradually climbs up his “paternal percentile.”
