At the heart of the film is a director (Michal Bat-Adam) working on a screenplay. Faces from her past and an assortment of characters whom she meets out and about find their way into the script and before long, take over her completely.
As she writes, she sees herself in all the female characters and her close friend, Gadi, a trained actor, in all the male ones. Through the fictional lives and fates she has created in the script, the director is able to examine and reassess her own life.
