Set in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Eilat, director Isaac Zepel Yeshurun’s existentialist dramedy follows the story of two couples, all of whom are old friends now in their forties, who are navigating both relationship and existential crises. The foursome go through life in a permanent state of discontent as they try to make sense of themselves, and of several fundamental concepts such as happiness and love. This journey of self-exploration drives them to infidelities and moments of great frustration, whilst reawakening a tsunami of long-buried memories from the past. A Brief History of Love won the Best Film award at the Haifa International Film Festival
