A delightfully unhinged screwball comedy starring four members (sans Shai Avivi) of the iconic Israeli comedy ensemble, the Cameric Five (‘hahamishia hakamerit’), written as a patchwork of middle-class Tel Aviv stories – all set in the course of one night. When Naomi and Tziki’s trendy flat is burgled, an outlandish and totally bonkers chain of events is set into motion, during which the husband falls in love with a sex worker and becomes acquainted with her pimp, whilst the wife falls for a police officer who is trying to teach his dog, Rambo, to bark on cue, when a traffic light turns green.
The film’s aesthetic boasts bold, intense colours, with an original soundtrack by Israeli indie pop band, Teapacks. Dana Raz’s onscreen performance earned her that year’s Ophir Award for Best Supporting Actress.
