Seven Minutes in Heaven, Omri Givon’s debut film follows Galia; a young woman who survived a Jerusalem bus-bombing. Her partner, who was also hurt in the attack, ends up comatose and eventually succumbs to his injuries. Galia meanwhile, is far from unscathed, herself: she has suffered horrific burns and struggles with episodes of memory loss. In the film, she embarks on a physical and emotional healing journey en route to rebuilding her life from the wreckage. An envelope with a mysterious necklace inside, sent to her anonymously, starts Galia off on quest, in search of those lost fragments of time. At the end of her journey, she hopes to finally piece together the full puzzle of that ill-fated day.
