President Zalman Shazar visits South America. At the airport of Montevideo, Uruguay, Shazar bids farewell to his hosts and travels to Santiago, Chile, where he is welcomed by the president and the government officials. In the City Hall, he receives honorary citizenship and an honor guard awaits him outside the Supreme Court. Shazar meets the president of the court, and thousands cheer for him outside congress. In the House of Congress, a joint agreement is signed to expand scientific and cultural cooperation between the nations. From there, a state convoy proceeds to place a bouquet of flowers by the monument for Chiles national hero.
