How does a woman feel about the fact she has essentially spent 25 of her 26 years of marriage, either pregnant or breastfeeding? This question is joined by others that have never been raised openly before; questions pertaining to a story that sheds light on the full implications of what obeying the “Be Fruitful and Multiply” commandment really means for the ultra-orthodox woman. Shosh Shalem’s documentary follows four women and in the process, offers an in-depth look at the modern-day lives of ultra-Orthodox women.
