Ron Ninio is an Israeli theatre, television, and film director, and a graduate of New York City’s Hunter College. Ninio has been a director at just about every repertoire theatre in Israel, and from 1998 – 2000 he was the Acco Festival for Alternative Israeli Theatre’s Artistic Director. Highlights of his stage credits include Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, Boesman and Lena, Irma la Douce, 12 Angry Men, A Night in May, Artaud, and Rain Man. In television, Ninio directed a string of hit, award-winning series including Reaching for Heaven, A Touch Away, Arab Labour, and Your Honour. Highlights of his film credits include The Quarry (1990), Actors (1995), and There were Nights (2009).
Ninio is the son of translator, Hannah Ben-Ari, and actor, Avraham Ninio.
