Ami (Tadeusz) Drozd is an Israeli director, screenwriter, and producer. Drozd was born in Poland and moved to Israel as a child. He worked as a director and editor in Israeli public broadcasting where he directed and produced numerous shorts, documentaries, and news features. In 2011, Drozd wrote and directed the narrative feature film, My Australia, which won the Audience Award at the Jerusalem Film Festival.
Highlights of his other directorial credits include Andrzej Wajda’s Possession (1988), The Name my Mother Gave me (2008), One Eye Wide Open (2009) which he co-directed with Aner Preminger, and Scandal in Ivansk (2017) which he co-directed with David Blumenfeld.
