Orly Silbersatz is a two-time Ophir Award winner for her roles in The Song of The Siren (Eytan Fox, 1994), and Broken Wings (Nir Bergman, 2002). Highlights of her other film credits include Dizengoff 99 (Avi Nesher, 1979), Saint Clara (Ari Folman and Ori Sivan, 1996), Lost Islands (Reshef Levi, 2008), Intimate Grammar (Nir Bergman, 2010), and Yossi (Eytan Fox, 2012). On television, Silbersatz has appeared in numerous series, including Ken Ma?! (‘yes, what?!’), Reaching for Heaven, Walk the Dog, Mother’s Day, Shtisel, Malkot (‘queens’), and many more. Silbersatz is the former wife of Israeli rock group, Machina’s lead singer, Yuval Banay. She wrote the lyrics to some of the band’s greatest hits including Anna, and Ahuvati (‘my love’). Banay and Silbersatz have three children, including musician and actor, Elisha Banay.
