Maor Cohen is a musician and actor. Cohen shot to fame in the early ‘90s as the lead singer of Israeli indie rock band, Ziknei Zfat (‘the elders of Safed’). When the band split up in 1996, he continued to make music, recording a string of solo albums, and collaborating with a number of groups whilst at the same time, growing his budding acting career. Highlights of his film credits include Birds in Neutral (Galit Eshkol and Eyal Shiray, 1996), Total Love (Gur Bentwich, 2000), Delayed Reaction (Samuel Calderon, 2004), Frozen Days (Danny Lerner, 2006), and This is Sodom (Adam Sanderson and Muli Segev, 2010). His TV credits include series like Mesudarim (‘sorted’), The Parliament, and A Wonderful Country.
