Alma Zack is an actress and comedienne. Zack studied at Tel Aviv University’s Department of Theatre Arts. She took her first steps in television in the late 1990s when she began recurring in a number of shows including the Israeli adaptation of Spitting Image, Shemesh, Ha-Chaim Ze Lo Ha-Kol (‘life isn’t everything’) and Shabatot VeHagim (‘weekends and holidays’). Her big break, however, came in 2003 when she became a fulltime cast member on the hit TV satire show, A Wonderful Country. In the years that followed, Zack would star in the series In Therapy, Lo Hivtachti Lach (‘I never promised you’), Ad Hachatuna (‘until marriage’), Yellow Peppers, Elisha, and Sisters (aka My Successful Sisters). Her film credits include Wisdom of the Pretzel (Ilan Heitner, 2002), The Secrets (Avi Nesher, 2007), Nymphs in the Mist (Yoram Sachs, 2008), and This is Sodom (Adam Sanderson and Muli Segev, 2010).
Zack is the daughter of actress Adi Etzion-Zak and musician, Yonatan Zack, and sister of editor, director, and TV producer, Yoram Zak. Her partner is actor Alon Neuman.
