Miri Laufer is a director and documentary film editor. Laufer is a frequent collaborator with sibling, director Erez Laufer. The two co-directed the film, One Day After Peace (2012), which was shown at many festivals both locally and internationally, and went on to win multiple awards including the Jury Prize in the Dutch documentary film competition, A Matter of ACT, the award for Best Documentary at Singapore’s Endeavours Festival, and the Research Award at the Docaviv International Documentary Film Festival.
Highlights of her editing credits include The Darien Dilemma (Erez Laufer, 2006), An Entire Generation Demanded Peace (Uri Rosenwaks, 2010), Turning Thirteen (Dana Idisis, 2013), Two Funerals (‘shtey levayot’) (Rotem Azulay, 2014, co-edited with Erez Laufer), Like a Lotus Flower (Eliya Swarttz, 2016), The Great Eagle (Uri Rosenwaks, 2017), and Transkids (Hilla Medalia, 2020, co-edited with Erez Laufer.)
