A film of the United Jewish Appeal aimed at raising funds to support the immigration of Jews from North Africa following the wars of independence in the 1960s The film presents the efforts of French and American organizations in absorbing North African Jews into France, including finding places to live, establishing kindergartens, providing food rations and prepared meals, and assisting with bureaucratic matters At the end of the film, there is a direct appeal to the audience to contribute in order to continue supporting these immigrants project.
