A film of the United Jewish Appeal, intended to raise funds. At the beginning of the film, we see the honorary president of the UJA, Henry Morgenthau Jr., visiting the settlement named after him, and telling the story of the settlement. Afterwards, the film presents the journey of a group of olim, arriving at the port of Haifa, going through stops in various locations across the country, and finally settling in a kibbutz.
At the end of the film, the head of the UJA addresses the audience, requesting them to contribute to the campaign “Now or Never” of the UJA. This campaign aims to enable Jews of the Soviet Union to reach the Land of Israel before being prevented by the Iron Curtain, to support Jewish refugees worldwide, and to allow the story of building the land of Israel, that was just witnessed, to continue and flourish.
