A film by the German Zionist Association showing the development of the land of Israel at the beginning of the 20th century, with the aim of attracting more people to the project. At the beginning of the film, places of historical importance are shown, then central figures in the development of the settlement, later important events in the development of the settlement are seen and described – the drying up of swamps, the opening of the Hebrew University and the Technion, and the establishment of Tel Aviv. Finally, the film shows the growth and development that has taken place in twenty years and calls on the viewers to take part – as all this work was done for them.
