This film shows the debates and the vote about Resolution 3379 of the UN General Assembly which defines Zionism as “a form of racism and racial discrimination”. The film shows the speeches of several ambassadors from different countries regarding the decision, the countries’ vote, the decision, and the reaction of the American ambassador regarding the resolution. Haim Herzog’s speech in which he tears up the resolution in front of the plenum, is considered iconic.
