A documentary about Israel’s new cities, which was produced by Histadrut’s Center for Education and Culture.
The film reviews the quick development of the cities Eilat, Ashdod, Arad, and Karmiel, which were established after Israel’s independence. Archive footage from the first years of these cities is compared with contemporary footage of them. Their pioneers, who turned residents, tell their stories. The film ends with footage of one of Israel’s newest settlements: Peza’el, located in the West Bank.
