A tourist travels from the Dead Sea to the Sea of Galilee. He is impressed by the Jewish settlements, which represent to him the future, while the lands Arabs represent the past. In Kibbutz Ein Gev he meets the young and charismatic Teddy Kollek, later to become mayor of Jerusalem, who tells his of Kibbutz life. An excerpt from a documentary produced for the United Palestine Appeal (Later part of the United Jewish Appeal) in 1946
