Prime Minister Golda Meir makes an official visit to the United States, as part of the negotiations on a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Egypt and Jordan, promoted by American US Secretary of State William Rogers. At the White House, Prime Minister Meir meets with US Secretary of State William Rogers and President Richard Nixon, alongside is seen Israels Ambassador to the US, Yitzhak Rabin. During the meeting, a rally takes place outside in which participants wear swastikas and distribute antisemitic leaflets. At the end of the visit, Prime Minister Meir lands at Lod Airport and is welcomed at a state ceremony, followed by a press conference.
