The opening ceremony of the Hall of Heroism museum, commemorating the underground fighters and Olei Hagardom during the British Mandate, is held at the former Jerusalem Central Prison building. Prisoners Rabbi Aryeh Levin, who used to visit the imprisoned fighters, affixes a mezuzah at the entrance. Bereaved families and veterans of the Irgun, Lehi, and Haganah undergrounds attend the ceremony. An exhibition at the museum displays newspaper articles on the walls, a memorial plaque, and a prison cell in which the inmates Moshe Barzani and Meir Feinstein committed suicide before their planned execution.
