Prime Minister Levi Eshkol and his wife Miriam Eshkol are on an official visit to the UK. During the visit, Prime Minister Eshkol delivers a speech before the Board of Deputies of British Jews and discusses the problem of Israels diplomatic relations with Germany and issues regarding Israels security. The Prime Minister then visits an international Bible quiz for youth held in London and other cities simultaneously, where he delivers a speech. In an interview for the BBC, Prime Minister Eshkol explains Israels position on the conflict of the control over water sources with Jordan and Syria. At a lunch held in his honor at the Israeli Ambassadors house in London, meets Prime Minister Eshkol with two of the Conservative Party leaders. In the evening, Prime Minister Eshkol attends a Clowns theater performance in Covent Garden Opera House alongside his wife Miriam, British Secretary of State for Defence, Denis Healey, and his wife.
