A film by the Hadassah organization showcasing its activities, emphasizing its aspiration for peace and the ongoing growth of the State of Israel. At the beginning of the film, the UN vote, Independence Day celebrations, and the first elections are seen, all stemming from a desire for peace and shared existence. However, attacks by Arab armies necessitate the training of soldiers. Throughout the rest of the film, numerous projects completed with the assistance of Hadassah are shown: industrial development, agricultural exports, the establishment of a school for design and fashion, and hospitality management, tourism development, the founding of many hospitals, as well as the first medical school and nursing school, establishing youth villages for Olim and refugees, and even afforestation efforts. All of these endeavors are carried out with the aim of developing a modern, democratic state aspiring to a life of peace.
